Organize Florida

Community organizing - we engage in door-to-door organizing in marginalized communities to build a movement of trained leaders who will take action to hold elected officials accountable for policies that harm their communities.

Other programs - our organizers work with community members to facilitate issue campaigns in areas such as criminal justice, housing, and climate justice. This work consists of educational programming, meeting facilitation and a variety of techniques and tactics to reach marginalized communities in central Florida.

Expanding democracy - we educated the public on the importance of expanding the electorate through the passage of a rights restoration ballot initiative known as amendment 4. This was done through a broadbased volunteer campaign that participated in door knocking, phone calls, and event facilitation.
