Program areas at North Carolina High School and JR High
Nchsra awards scholarship money to our graduating seniors. Half of this money is awarded to us by out national rodeo board of directors, and is based on the number of members we have during the season. The other half is raised by our state association by way of fundraising and sponsorships.
We are an independent student athletic association. Members are fully insured, supervised and guided by adult experts. Members are held accountable for maintenaning a certain academic standard along with honorable conduct. Nchsra produces several rodeos throughout the season. We fund all aspects of the rodeo, facility, livestock, advertising, insurance, emt services and work crew.
Nchsra provides opportunities for our members to compete at the world championship level, which gives members mjutiple opportunites for success and growth. Nchsra raises and awards money to our members that do qualify to compete nationally, so the travel financial burden is less
