Program areas at National Association of Social Workers - Minnesota Chapter

Professional Development & Education: The chapter provided quality professional continuing education to more than 800 mental health professionals and NASW members during the program year.
Membership & Organization: The Chapter retained 1810 members; newly elected board members trained for their roles; strategic planning process completed for the next 3-5 years; Legacy scholarship awarded as well as other awards recognizing leading members of profession.
Public Policy & Advocacy: The chapter monitored legislative issues, sent Action Alerts to members, and hosted 900 social work students and practitioners at its annual SW Day at the Capitol.
