Program areas at Montco Anti-Hunger Network

Mahn's (which organized in 2014 under fiduciary oversight until 2020) food resource program continues to distribute food donated by retail grocers, food producers, and organizations in possession of occasional surpluses. The program separates itself from other redistribution programs because of its door-to-door delivery of food on a flexible "take what you need basis." Mahn does not charge an annual membership fee nor does it establish a minimum poundage requirement for delivery. In 2022, over 420,000 pounds of food was distributed by mahn to montgomery county hunger relief organizations.
