Program areas at MN VFW - Post 8391 Browerville Vets Club

FRIDAY NIGHT FISH FRY. The Club hosts a Friday Night Fish Fry during the Lenten season for all military personnel and veterans. 7 fish fries were held in 2021 providing a meal of all you can eat fish, potatoes, a vegetable, salad, and desert. Apprximately 250 personnel, spouses, and the general public would attend each night.
VETERANS DAY PROGRAM On November 11, Veterans Day, the Browerville Veterans Club sponsors a Luminary Field for all local veterans that have served our Country. Luminary bags with a candle and holder are placed on the Veterans Club lawn and lit. In 2021 there were more than 1,100 bags set up representing veterans from every war starting with the War of 1812 then including every war or conflict the US has been involved in. Everyone from the surounding community is invited to visit the luminaries as they light up the evening. The local VFW and Legion members stand guard during the program.
BROWERVILLE DAYS CELEBRATION The last weekend in June, Friday, Saturday and Sunday the City of Browervile celebrates Browerville Days. On Friday evening The Browerville Veterans Club host a BBQ chicken feed for all military personnel and veterans. The general public is also invited to enjoy a meal of BBA chicken, potatoe salad, beans, relished, and desert. Generally, 205 to 275 people attend the meal.
