Community support programs: The Foundation supported the community and local nonprofits through the following:- Missoula Gives: An annual day of giving that took place in May of 2023 which raised over 1.1 million from 3800 donors benefitting 200 nonprofit organizations. - Womens Giving Circle: A philanthropic collaborative granting group of women who awarded $12,000 in grants in 2023.- Small grants to nonprofits: Grants awarded to local nonprofits both through a competitive grant process and as pass-through grants.- Scholarship: The Foundation managed scholarship funds and awarded scholarships.
Fiscal Sponsorship: The Foundation incubated ideas and projects through fiscal sponsorship. The Foundation received and administered charitable contributions designated for other organizations that were implementing projects or programs in alignment with the Foundations mission.
Fund Service & Education: The Foundation administered the receipt of charitable assets through a variety of charitable giving tools such as donor advised funds, permanent endowments and charitable gift annuities for the purpose of making grants to various nonprofits. In addition, the Foundation held Be the Change educational events to educate the community about charitable giving and educate nonprofits about giving vehicles and strategies.
