Program areas at Military Retirees Club of Richmond
The civic action program made contributions, donated time and services to the va dept of social services to assist families at thanksgiving. Donation of time, service and facilities were made available to area high schools in support of jrotc and to promote patriotism
Civic. AND HUMANITARIAN ACHIEVEMENTS WERE MADE THROUGH THE DONATING OF TIME, EQUIPMENT AND THE USE OF QUR FACILITIES BY OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, FACILITY SPACE WAS DONATED TO THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS (VFW). THE AUXILLIARY OF THE VFW POST, THE LOCAL BRANCH OF THE NAACP AND THE CRUSADE FORVOTERS ORGANIZATION. cena
Programs to honor our deceased members and to recognize current leaders was planned, coordinated and executed. Donations were also made to other Military retiree clubs. In addition, we operated the Club house to serve a medium for friendship among retired members of the armed forces
