Mi Refugio operates a Christian school for poor children who live next to the Guatemala City garbage dump and Mayan villages surrounding the San Pedro, Sacatepequez school campus in Guatemala. The school provides free education from preschool through high school at the 12 acre San Pedro campus, and scholarships to attend career school, medical school, and university training elsewhere.
