Program areas at Marian Movement of Priests
To clebrate the 50th anniveray of the birth of Marian Movement of Priests in fatima, porugal in 1972, the 2022 international clergy retreat was held in fatima from june 26 to july 2nd. The us national clergy retreat was held again at the malvern retreat house in malvern, Pennsylvania from september 12-16, 2022. Owing to the generosity of our member donors, we were able to sponsor several Priests to attend these clergy retreats. The annual national reterat for laity, led by fr. Andre feain, fi, was held at the shrine of the most blessed acrament of our lady of the angels monastery in hanceville, Alabama from sept. 23-25, 2022
Copies of the non-commercial edition of the book, to the Priests, our lady's beloved sons, in both english and spanish, the accompanying cenacle prayer guide, and biography of fr. Stefano bobbi, his parish is the whole world,: continued to be dissemenated from the headquarters in Maine. A first draft of the spanish translation of fr. Boggi's biograpy was completed, and print sould commence sometime in 2023
In the first few months of 2022, the us national director, fr. Richard cortese (1956-2022 r.i.p), continued traveling throughout the us to conduct cenacles of prayer. He went to Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, south carolina, Arizona, Texas, new mexico, Washington, Oregon, Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.
