During 2022, mlar rescued, cared for and placed over nearly 1,400 animals. This was accomplished with the help of over 220 volunteers contributing more nearly 17,000 volunteer hours. These dedicated individuals exercised, socialized, and in some cases rehabilitated the animals in mlar's care. Additionally, the volunteers participated in continuing education opportunities on-site as well as community outreach opportunities off-site.
