Above amount contributed to related organizations for benevolent care. Serving those residents who, through no fault of their own, outlive their financial ability to pay. Providing a gift that will bring comfort and hope to those in need during a vulnerable time in their lives.

Sales from volunteer staffed resale shop that benefit the lss benevolent care program which helps aging neighbors who can no longer support themselves. Place to find a fantastic selection of used furniture, clothing, accessories and more - all at prices that can't be beat. New items arrive daily and inventory is always full of unique and eclectic pieces just waiting to be discovered.

Above amount contributed to Lutheran Senior Services for clinical and pastoral education program. The program offers accredited courses for those pursuing careers in the ministry. Cpe specializes in pastoral care, counseling, and ministry for older adults, families, and staff members. From the laclede groves Senior living community, the program welcomes students from around the world. The program is unique among cpe offerings: one of few cpe training programs administered by a Senior living provider, hands-on experience at a Senior living community, rather than in the hospital setting, available over an expansive geographic region, both national and international, and all programs accredited by the association for clinical pastoral education, inc. (acpe). The relational experience in this context translates well for those considering congregational ministry and equips them for serving as chaplains in other contexts.
