The Los Angeles Paralegal Association, LAPA, is a professional organization dedicated to the development, strengthening, and advancement of the paralegal profession. In 1972, local paralegals formed LAPA to respond to the growing need for an organized professional association throughout the area. LAPA's accomplishments for 2022 focused on providing a multitude of continuing legal education MCLE seminars, including online seminars covering topics such as ethics, bankruptcy, and entertainment.
