Literacy Chicago Srvices the adult education community programs including basic reading adn comprehension classes for adults reading below a 6th grade Level, adult basic education ABE classes, GED classes, english second language ESL classes, computer classes and workforce development courses.
The IL SECRETARY of STATE GRANT - Allowes Literacy Chicago to conduct our volunteer programs where175 volunteers teach tutoring services. Volunteers also lead classroom sessions for our adult learners the subjects of reading and comprehension, our citizenship and computer classes.
