Program areas at Our Daily Breadwhitney Food Bank
Food Bank: provides Food and personal product items to those in need. Food Bank is open three days per week - monday, wednesday & thursday - 3 hours per day. An estimated 7,321 people were assisted during the year.
Weekend back pack program: provide children in need with a backpack of Food to take home over the weekend so that they can have nutritional meals during the days they are not in school. An estimated 4,573 children were assisted during the year.
Benevolence: provides assistance to those in need for prescriptions, utilities, gas to travel to medical appointments. An estimated 782 people were assisted during the year.
School supplies program: donation of school supplies to local school districts
Miscellaneous: various contributions to support other local organizations' missions and projects
Joint committee for christmas: provides angel tree, senior gifts, Food baskets and gift cards for Food for thanksgiving and christmas. An estimated 602 people were assisted during the year.
