Monies adwarded to local nonprofit organizations to futher their exempt purpose. Emphasis was placed on organizations that provided services to children.

Provided college scholarships to graduating students from iredell-statesville schools. Selection was based on achievements and need.

Project expenses incurred to provide activities for youth in our community. Activities such as read around the world project for kindergardners attending a library activity that promoted reading. Club meeting expenses incurred to provide programs and activities for our Kiwanis membership. Conference to promote goodwill between the agri business of our county with suburban business leaders. Committee expenses paid to promote the activities of Kiwanis international and district Kiwanis.
