JJS Helping Paws improves the lives of cats and dogs in Fremont County by preventing homelessness, abuse, abandonment and unwanted animals through various programs that use low cost spay/neuter services and education. They work towards reducing unwanted litters by educating pet owners about responsible pet ownership, and offer a TRN program that traps, neuters and vaccinates feral cats and kittens. In total, they have spayed or neutered 728 pet cats and dogs through their low cost program, along with 382 ferals who were also helped.

Program areas at JJS Helping Paws

728 pet cats and dogs were spayed or neutered through our low cost spay/neuter program. In addition 382 feral cats and kittens were trapped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated through TRN(trap, neuter, return) program. Some of the ferals went into our Uber Kitty Program to be adopted and the rest were returned to their communities to live out their natural lives. 347 cats and kittens were surrendered by their owners or from the TNR program and 147 were altered. All found homes through the Uber Kitty Program. Roughly 2,103 low cost vaccinations were given in all of these programs.
