Persian school continued through classes and outdoor activities such as Strawberry picking, golf, potluck at the park, and hiking.Communications among members were enhanced and promoted through the website, regular emails, and Peyvand biannual printed publication and cultural lectures.ICSNC supported other local groups that presented programs and lectures in Persian poetry, literature, music, history, art, and culturesupporting local artists photography exhibitions of artistic pictures from various spots in Iran.ICSNC celebrated several traditional events such as Charshanbehsouri Souri, Sizdah beh dar, and Nowruz ( in tandem with the Iranian Students Association at North Carolina State University) and supported cultural events (Max Amini event,) Sattar fundraising event.Members actively worked on the completion and renovation of the Aria Cultural Center via frequent and regular meetings and fundraisings conducted via phone calls, personal visits.
