Program areas at International Pain Foundation
Awareness Activities: NERVEmber, Hero of Hope Awards, Disease Awareness Month Activities, iPain Living Magazine, Salonpas, and other similar events. The foundation achieved all media goals and distributed print and digital materials. Collaborated with 100+ organizations on awareness projects, reaching over 70 Million impressions online.
Assistance program: to patients, caregivers, and similar projects by other organizations, patient mentoring, patient advocates at medical appointments, assists patients in finding providers specialized in their disease. The foundation provides under-insurance patients with durable medical equipment, a quilt program, etc.
Educational Activities: hosted webinars and events dedicated to increasing the number of patients receiving effective pain care, this program accomplishes this by giving patients, caregivers, and health professionals practical information, and iPain Summit activities topics include understanding insurance, genetics, test results, etc.
