The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology has organized the Harry and Pola Triandis Doctoral Thesis Award, which is supported by the Harry and Pola Triandis Fund. The Award is intended to honor and reward research excellence and to advance the early careers of dedicated researchers in the domain of culture and psychology. One award is given every two years, consisting of a $500 monetary award, one year of membership in the organization, free registration at the next biennial congress, and partial airfare to the conference.
The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology believes that the participation by its members from various parts of the world, particularly in its conferences, is essential for the international character and development of the Association. To aid in this purposes, the Association established the Witkin-Okonji Memorial Fund Award. The Award is in honor of the memory of Herman A. Witkin and Michael Ogbolu Okonji, two individuals who demonstrated the importance of collaborating on cross-cultural research projects. These awards are intended to provide an opportunity to defray travel expenses to its biennial Congresses for members, researchers or educators based on monetary need.
