Treats Falls House provides residential and nursing care to seventeen aduts with intellectual disabilities who havbe challenging medical, physical and/or behavioral needs. Our experienced and highly skilled employees provide these progressive and specialized services in order to maximize each individaul's potential with an emphasis on health services, community inclusion and skill building.In addition, Residential Home Supports are provided in four group homes. These homes are staffed 24/7 with rotating staff. A total of 17 individuals with intellectual disabilities can be supported in these homes. These services focus on health and safety, skill-building and community engagement.
Shared Living services enable adults with intellectual disabilities to reside in a provider's residence, 24/7. This service model is designed to provide consistency and provide a more "family" environment than a residential setting with rotating direct support staff.
Community Ties (CT) and Community Connections (CC) provides day habilitation support needs. CT is based in Penobscot County while CC is in Aroostook County. Both programs are designed to meet each individual's needs and give them the best opportunity to succeed and thrive. This includes skill-building and therapeutic-based programs, fitness, social opportunities and a variety of community activities that promote individual health, spriit and self-esteem to the fullest. Staff work with individuals to increase or maintain their ability to successfully engage in inclusive social engagement in varied community environments.
