New Mexico Holocaust & Intolerance Museum educates and inspires communities of upstanders through the lessons and personal stories of the Holocaust and other genocides. The museum teaches visitors how to confront hate and bigotry and also covers other genocides and forms of bullying from around the world, without limiting itself to any particular religion, culture, geographic area or time. In the 2022-2023 school year, the museum provided programs for students as part of its purpose to educate visitors.

Program areas at New Mexico Holocaust & Intolerance Museum

Our purpose is to educate visitors as well as teach about other genocides and forms of bullying that have affected people around the world. We are not limited to one religion, culture, geographic area or time. In the 2022-2023 school year, we provided programs to 16 schools and 700 students around the State of New Mexico. During this fiscal year, we were also visited by over 1300 people based on our admissions revenue.
