Organization: Received 2023 Main Street America national accreditation. Provided over $18,000 in grant funding to downtown businesses Sponsored over 20 events which included new partners Celebrated 30 years as a downtown development organization Promotion: The "Heart Beat" newletter outreach increased 40% Social Media outreach incleared to 9.9K followers Distributed 12,000 dining guides Promoted "Think Local" shopping days for local businesses Sponsored a free community holiday event with county and city partnerships Redesigned event logos and developed a marketing plan.
Economic Development: Cultivated close relationships with property owners and downtown businesses Maintained database of available downtown spaces and propertieds Conducted annual economic inpact survey. Held 2023 Annual event for stakeholders in the HOB district.
Secured a $25,000 grant from Duke Energy Foundation, enabling HOB to grant local businesses funding for crucial repairs and beautification projects. . HOB provide a critical role as advocate and liason during the Main Street Masterplan Construction project. HOB tirelessly communicated with downtown businesses and worked to minimize disruptions to operations during this challenging time. HOB's efforts promoted a sense of community, mitigated disruptions and maintained a positive environment for downtown businesses to thrive.
