Habitat for Humanity - Rowan County

Construction was completed on 4 homes that were transferred to low income families. At year end construction was in progress for 3 additional homes. Maintained interest free mortgages for over 82 families and provided homeowner services to low income families.

Operated restore which received donated merchandise from businesses and individuals interested in supporting Habitat's mission. The merchandise was sold to the general public at below market prices. The net proceeds after covering the restore expenses was used to further the organizations mission of building affordable housing by subsidizing construction costs.
