Office of alcohol and substance abuse: prevention programs for drug and alcohol use amongst youths.gvyc does court intervention, crisis counseling, tutoring, ged prep and has a drop in center. All participants are exposed to evidence based drug prevention curriculum. Approx. 1600 at risk Youth served annually.
Other programs: academic, recreational and multicultural activities as well as after school programs and meals to youths and families in need. Gvyc provides a full array of athletic activities featuring our famous west 4th st basketball league for boys and girls.
