Program areas at Grand Chess Tour

The Grand Chess Tour (gct) organizes a series of international Chess tournaments throughout the year and across the globe to promote the educational value of the game of Chess. Players are selected as full gct participants based on the top finishers in the prior year, by average prior year rating, and by the gct advisory board as Tour wild-cards. Tour participants played both classic events and rapid and blitz Chess events.
The Grand Chess Tour's (gct) mission is to promote the educational benefits of Chess and popularize the game of Chess around the world.
