The program uses running as a vehicle to influence positive social, cognitive, physical, emotional and psychological assets and development. Volunteer coaches deliver a research-driven running curriculum in biweekly sessions for 10 to 12 weeks. The girls train toward the completion of a 5K Run/Walk, a large community-wide event held at the end of the session.
