More than 2,700 doses of combination heartworm/flea/tick medication were provided to kennel dogs, 14 dogs received heartworm treatment, 193 dogs received medical care, 331 dogs were spayed/neutered, more than 1,000 collars were provided to kennel dogs, and 58 dogs received training. These actions, along with providing support for the hike and run groups, Kong and other enrichment activities, adoption support such as collars/leashes/harnesses, and other supplies contributed to preparing dogs to enter their forever homes. In addition, our dog transport van traveled over 13,200 miles transferring 158 dogs to rescue partners and transporting 610 dogs to medical appointments.
