We worked closely with underserved schools and community outreach partners to reduce hunger for under-resourced children and teens between the ages of 4 -18 years of age. We provided educational resources to teach children and teens about healthy eating habits. In 2023 we provided nearly 80,125 free meals to underserved children and teens. We provide technical assistance, and education, to children and teens in underserved communities facing hunger. We provided more than $210,000 worth of food goods to 21 at-risk schools that have students facing hunger after the normal school day ends. We provided schools with no-cost snacks and supper meals totaling over $210,000. We provided free expertise and resources on how to harness healthy eating habits in low-income communities and related challenges like supply issues and rising food costs. We host and distribute free resources to support 21 frontline afterschool meal sites to connect more kids with meals.
