Program areas at Tarrant To and Through Partnership

Postsecondary pathways - the postsecondary pathways department supports the t3 mission and the vision for the future of Tarrant county students by providing holistic college and Career advising/navigation To high school students. Our program provides case management support To juniors and seniors, in Partnership with tcu cac, To support pursuit of postsecondary training/credential and enrollment in higher education Through a summer melt program. Our teams provide direct support with completion of college applications, financial aid applications, and completion of matriculation requirements. During the 2022-2023 school year, we supported over 16,000 applications To t3 partner colleges/universities and enrolled over 1,900 graduated seniors at our partner colleges/universities. Additionally, our team also exists To partner closely with district and campus-based staff To provide thought Partnership, coaching, and resources To support overall college and Career readiness.
College and Career success - t3 continues To make a substantial difference in the lives of our t3 scholars as they progress To graduate with a degree or credential within the first six years after high school graduation. T3 now has three cohorts of t3 scholars and over 3,400 students across our eight higher education institutions. Eligible scholars continue To be supported by a first dollar scholarship, which assists in ensuring scholars are equipped and resourced To start each semester, and the last dollar scholarship covers the remaining balance in tuition costs for eligible students. In collaboration with bridge programs and persistence coaching at partner institutions, t3 has developed the acclimate. Persist. Thrive. Framework which delivers additional academic and social support To students working towards a degree or credential.
Mentor/workforce development - the Tarrant To & Through (t3) Partnership is an organization committed To increasing the number of students in Tarrant county who pursue education beyond high school. Our goal is To ensure that each student has the training and skills they need To thrive in today's workforce. We believe that family encouragement and belief in their students' future helps them To choose the best path To success. The t3 family engagement program is here To support families along the way. For parents and families, t3 programs, resources, and support begin in middle school. If a parent/family member takes the t3 family pledge, the participant will gain access To the following resources: learn the steps necessary To choose and access pathways that lead To high wage, high demand jobs and receive personalized support from family engagement To advocate for student success. We recruited 515 families last school year To participate and enroll.
Postsecondary advisors - t3 postsecondary advising program is designed To support underclassmen with intentional exploration of themselves (strengths, interests, passions) and possible living-wage Career opportunities, To develop an informed plan for after high school. T3 postsecondary advisors accomplish this by assessing where students are at in their planning journey, creating an individualized plan, and engaging students in a series of conversations throughout the school year and equipping them with tools/resources that support them with creation of a postsecondary plan. During the 2022-2023 school year, t3 advisors and tcu cac completed over 2,000 success plans with sophomores and juniors in fwisd.
