Family medicine clinic is part of the program's total education program providing Fort Wayne with quality healthcare since 1967. Located in a Medical office complex in downtown Fort Wayne, the clinic functions much like a larger family medicine group.

Healthier moms & babies (hmb) is managed and operated under the Fort Wayne Medical education program (fwmep). Hmb provides health education and case management services to low-income, high-risk pregnant women and their families in allen county, Indiana. It is working toward a healthier future by breaking down barriers to prenatal care, educating women about preterm labor and warning signs in pregnancy, increasing community awareness about suids prevention, providing information about medicaid and more. Hmb received a two-year grant at the end of 2017 through the Indiana state department of health to implement nurse family partnership program in allen county. Nurse family partnership is a national evidenced-based home visitation program which partners with first time, low-income pregnant women until the baby turns age two. Nurse family partnership has proven improved birth outcomes, increased breastfeeding rates, increased Medical homes and immunization rates for children.
