Foresight Design Initiative

Foresight builds the capacity of leaders, organization, collaboratives and other change agents to accelerate progress toward greater ecological balance, economic vitality, and social equity and justice. The organization accomplishes this by facilitating peer-based learning; offering analysis of, insight into, and strategy for addressing complex issues such as food and agriculture systems; and providing innovation, communications and administrative capacity to organizations aligned with and pursuing projects related to the aforementioned principles.

Foresight prep leadership institute provides 10-20 high school students who are passionate about social justice, climate change and sustainability to develop as transformative leaders. This educational program offers experimental learning that empowers students and involves interviewing established leaders; engaging in lectures, readings and discussions; and synthesizing findings into the creation of transformative projects presented to their peers and the public.
