Archiving and organization of the files on exhibitions in which gonzalez-torres's artwork is included, including retroactive research efforts. Collecting and archiving samples from all manifestations of gonzalez-torres's artworks that were included in exhibitions. Collecting and archiving images of all installations of gonzalez-torres's artworks in exhibitions, special projects, and other venues. Facilitating image archive access to researchers and licensing images for educational publications. Material research to support the longevity of artworks and the viability of their inclusion in exhibitions.

Exhibition & scholarship supportresearch and administrative support for exhibitions, events, and projects that include the work of Felix gonzalez-torres and/or further awareness of the work of gonzalez-torres (including involvement in planning/producing solo and two-artist exhibitions [and related publications], in addition to dozens of group exhibitions). Conversations with prospective exhibitors and institutional owners regarding the unique nature of gonzalez-torres's work, and the rights and responsibilities of exhibitors. Fabrication, storage, and maintenance of exhibition copies of artworks to facilitate the inclusion of gonzalez-torres's artworks in exhibitions. Commissioning and editorial support for new scholarship related to Gonzalez- Torres, including new experimental artist-research-based work.

Ceritificate of authenticity & guidancelegal consultation and other administrative efforts associated with the issuance of ongoing guidance for individual owners, institutions, and authorized borrowers of gonzalez-torres's artworks. Updating and issuance of certificates of authenticity and ownership, pursued with the intention of upholding the artist's intentions for these documents to evolve over time, reflecting and documenting new learnings around gonzalez-torres's work.

Image licensing revenue received for reproduction of images of artwork by Felix gonzalez-torres constitutes a means by which the Foundation currently accomplishes one of it's exempt purposes to create and maintain an archive on the artwork of Felix gonzalez-torres and provide access to the archives to researchers, scholars and members of the general public.
