Program areas at Fastr
Fastr works with the automotive ecosystem to enable the organically secure vehicle of the future and will collaborate with like-minded organizations worldwide to help the automotive industry get in front of next-generation security risks and technologies making the world a safer place. Fastr's collaborations with like-minded organizations initiated in 2017. Fastr provides specialist workshops for members to learn about and influence the latest automotive security technologies and help facilitate compliance with evolving regulations and standards.
Conduct applied and theoretical automotive security research in order to deliver pre-competitive technological building blocks, such as white papers, reference architectures, code samples, workshops and best-known methods that automotive oems and suppliers can utilize and to drive security requirements across their supply chains. Fastr's collaboration with universities and other like-minded organizations in 2017 supports long-term research mission with automotive security expertise and enable building tech transfer links. Fastr utilized the following proposed work-groups to focus on each layer and provide proof points in 2017: trusted supply chain (tsc) leaders, member volunteers, university students and consultants or contractors.
Accelerate automotive security innovation to enable trust in the autonomous vehicle of the future by catalyzing the creation and deployment of key technologies. Fastr participates and influences automotive security forums from a technology perspective, raises community awareness and assists regulators and standards bodies.
