Eton School

Eton Montessori provides a Montessori education to more than 300 students, from pre-school to grade-8 level, using both traditional Montessori and contemporary materials. By following the child, Eton Montessori encompasses both the Montessori approach as well as current research. Within multi-age grouping (3-6 and 6-9) children receive both individual and group instruction. Each child learns basic skills in an environment that promotes concentration, order, independence, and a love for learning. Eton school's upper elementary and middle school continues the philosophy of educating the whole child in an increasingly teach-directed approach. In recognition of the unique emotional, social and academic needs of the pre-adolescent (9-14), the upper elementary teachers work as a close team to provide a solid academic bridge from childhood to adolescent to lay the foundation for developing responsible citizens.
