Equislabs

Lapizthrough the latino political innovation zones (lapiz), Equislabs worked with partner groups on the ground in California and new mexico to run a non-partisan gotv program combined with a messaging program aimed at low turnout latino voters, in an effort to dramatically increase latino voter engagement and turnout in swing electoral districts. These efforts included 213,985 door knocks, 666,561 mailers, 8 digital ads, 3 tv ads, and 2 radio ads.

Disinformation program Equislabs monitored disinformation circulating in the online environment and its effects on latinos, including how latinos interact with and combat political disinformation and misinformation. Nearly 40% of the posts equis flagged, are no longer active on social platforms. This monitoring helped Equislabs create tools and guidance for partner groups that serve latino and allied groups. The number of partners impacted is more than 300.

Research/analysisequislabs engaged in research on pressing demographic, political, and policy questions, in order to provide actionable data to latino-serving groups and help develop the tools to implement that research in partners' primary purpose and political programming aimed at latinos. We collected 12,150 digital latino survey responses and conducted 17 polls and 11 focus groups.
