Program areas at Eagle Ops

Operation reach-one-more organizes and conducts rally points across various locations in Oklahoma to serve as gathering hubs for service members, veterans and their families to come together to access support and resources as well as to provide social connections to combat isolation and loneliness, the main contributing factors in veteran suicide. Operation reach-one-more conducted more than 70 rally points in 2022 connecting 1,637 participants with financial counseling, healthcare assistance, education opportunities, job placement services, mental health support, and legal aid. The program also facilitated connections to various resources within the community including granting $11,504 to partnering Oklahoma nonprofits to help their continue mission to assist participants to access resources such as housing assistnce, job placement services, resume writting support, va claims and benefits guidance, mental health services, and other vital community services.
Operation hand-up is a grant process that provides financial assistance to veteran service organizations and veterans in need. The program identifies areas of need and offers grants to eligible veterans to alleviate finacial burdens to improve their overall wellbeing. The program provided 51 grants totaling $18,682 in 2022 to assist with needs ranging from utility assistance, auto repairs or insurance, hotel stays, rent/mortage assistance, adaptive home repairs/updates, job placement assistance, legal assitance, and travel assistance.
Operation outreach focuses on establishing relationships with government and tribal entities, state and local organizations, and veteran service organizations to create a robust network of support to and enhancement of the overall well-being of veterans. The program aims to bridge gaps in service provisions by identifying opportunites for collaboration and resource sharing. Operation outreach conducted over 60 such collaborative partnership events in 2022 designed to enhance the effectiveness and assessibility of services and resources for veterans while establishing connections with govermental agencies, policymakers, and legislative offices to ensure veteran voices are heard in policy discussions and decision-making processes.
The difference maker volunteer program provides veterans and their families with a wide range of diverse volunteer opportunites allowing participants to fill roles that align with their intersts, skills, and passions. The program not only benefits the communites it serves but also supports the personal fulfillment and well-being of veterans and their families as they continue to make a positive impact beyond their military service. Differance makers participated in over 80 community events in 2022, amassing over 2,600 volunteer hours.
