Historic Preservation: DCDAR support the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) museum, library and historic buildings. It supports projects in the District of Columbia including preservation of the boundary stones, Capitol Hill Call Boxes, and gravesites including that of James Hoban. Education: DCDAR supports designated NSDAR school and education funds, and engages in activities that support education and literacy in the District. This year DCDAR supplied books, awards, and refreshments for McKinley Technical High Schools Book Club, supported scholarships at George Washington University, and supported DC City Kids.Patriotism: DCDAR promotes citizenship and provided support for local veterans, wounded warriors, and active duty US Service men and women.
