The Griot Museum of Black History creates a community of lifelong learners who explore, experience, and embrace Missouri's rich and enduring African American heritage through compelling core exhibits, dynamic touring shows, and educational and entertaining public programs. Recently, the museum presented "Listen, Look: A Journey Through Black Joy and Grief," a multimedia exhibition reflecting on the lived experiences of the artists, as well as "In the City: Memories of Bl" exhibit from May 6th to May 28th.

The Griot Museum of Black History presented the following exhibits: 2/21 - 5/21 "Listen, Look: A Journey Through Black Joy and Grief" - a multimedia exhibition reflecting on the lived experiences of the artists. 5/6/21- 5/28/21 "In the City: Memories of Black Presence" - a multimedia exhibit by St. Louis artists in collaboration with Harvard University. 6/19/21 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration - 40 Acres and a Mule Art Show and Sale. 7/31/21 "Facets of Love" - evening of music, poetry, first person reenactments. 11/20/21 Awarded Andrew W. Mellon Foundation grant to initiate our "Black Herstory" memory-marking project.
