Council on American Islamic Relations of Arizona

Cair-az was able to achieve many things during this fiscal year: - hold community events that reached thousands of our community members, which helped enhance their understanding of a variety of subjects. A few of these trainings included: know your rights, as well as bystander intervention trainings. Additionally, we were able to hold effective talks at Arizona state university and city of scottsdale training both students and employees about contemporary issues facing the muslim community. Cair-az also reached millions of people through our hate hurts initiative, which helps educate the public about an increase in hate crimes.
