Providing community based cultural and educational services by supporting and funding organizations such as SPCA in Placer Sacramento and Great Plains regions, Wayside Waifs, Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps and Roseville Police Activities Leaque (PAL). We have granted $5,000 to Placer County SPCA, $1,050 to Sacramento SPCA and $1,000 to Great Plains SPCAto support variety of programs & services, such a spray/neuter assistance, humane educations and behavior programs. Wayside Waifs Provides temporary shelter for homeless companion animals, educates the public and develops partnerships, collaborations and strategic allances. We have granted Wayside Waifs $2,500 to support their shelter facility, adoption and educational services We have granted $1,500 to Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps to support a program that integrates education, job skills and Paid work experience to high school dropouts or young adults with limited or no job experience to help them earn high school diplomas, gain valuable work experience and serve our community. We granted Roseville PAL $1,500 which reach out and enrich the lives of the youth of Roseville by providing safe and supervised environments for recreational, athletic, social, educational, and cultural activities. They provide a variety of programs that appeal to the different interests of children and young adults, helping build meaninaful relationships between Roseville youth and Police Officers. a
Providing health and mental health services by supporting and funding organizations such as Sutter Roseville Medical Foundation Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Keaton Raphael Memorial. Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation strives to build and sustain healthy communities and enhance patient care. We awarded $7,500 to Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation fund XENEX LightStrike Germ-Zapping Robot which uses ultraviolet light to disinfect hard-to-reach places and destroy dangerous and resilent superbugs and drug resistant organisms. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is on a mission to accelerate life changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications. We have awarded $5,500 to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to strengthen resources and grow outreach efforts, to touch the lives of individuals affected by the D and giving them hope . We granted $5,000 to Keaton Raphael Memorial to support their effort in providing children with cancer and their families with emotional, financial, and educational assistance while increasing awareness and funding research foward a Cure
Helping children and families by supporting and funding organizations such as Make A Wish Foundation, Tommy Apostolos Fund anc Wounded Warrior Family Support. Make A Wish Foundation is on a mission to create a life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We awarded $5,500 to Make A Wish Foundation to participate in the Adopt-A-Wish program to sponsor a wish to a child in our community. We have granted $5,000 to Tommy Apostolos Fund to fund the annual children shopping spree that provides needed clothing, coats, shoes and essentials for Roseville-based school children. Wounded Warriors Family Support provides support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during the combat operations. We have awarded $5,010 to the Wounded Warriors Family Support to fund the ongoing programs for veterans and their families in healing emotionally, psychologically and
