Community Security Service safeguards the Jewish community by partnering with organizations and authorities. It protects Jewish life and way of life by training over 2,500 community members in professional security techniques and providing physical security. CSS enabled effective security and safety for weekly services at 120+ synagogues and 25+ special events. It also provides basic training, guidance, and resources as well as advanced training, operational support, and resources to better equip community members against violent incidents and terrorism. Program areas at Community Security Service

Provided basic training, guidance and resources to over 7000+ community members to be better equipped to protect their own against the increasing atmosphere of violent incidents and terrorism. Provided advanced training, operational support and resources to the 3000+ volunteers that are already involved with providing regular safety, security, and protection services to different Jewish institutions and events.
Reported and responded to 125+ incidents in coordination with communal partners and/or law enforcement.
Enabled effective security and safety support for the protection of weekly services at 200 institutions. Enabled effective security and safety support for the protection of 30+ special events.
Continued work towards the mission including outreach and developing strategic partnerships.
