Program areas at Colloqate Design
MCL Midland Library serves as a cultural landscape for communities of color,low income, immigrants and refugees following Portland's city center gentrification. This project serves to address the disparity caused by the city's lack of investment to this area of the city. Colloqate works to create a public amenity that is designed with and built for its East County residents to gather and thrive. Holgate:Holgate Library will foster a culture of civic pride, bringing purposeful sustainable and socially just experiences to the forefront to empower communities of Multnomah County
MSI City of St. Louis: Colloqate is working with the city of St. Louis to invest in uses for a former jail and the land surrounding it. This project will help build a community's vision of what the buildings and site could be used for and should be used for. Re-envisioning the empty workhouse space for the community.
Jefferson High School: Colloqate Design team will provide engagement storytelling multicultural placemaking for Portland Library and High Schools project. Colloqate will design as a deep expression of care in physical form.Organize and design ensuring that the narratives of the community are vested in the physical structures of the space that are collectively designed.
Black United Fund: The Colloqate Design team partners with Portland to design building for a more just and equitable community
