Program areas at Clarksville Police Union Cpu Local 18
During the month of december - Clarksville Police Union sponsored a "shop with a cop" event. Officers delivered gifts to over 150 Local underprivileged children from montgomery county. Each child benefited approx $150 from clothing and toys purchased in effort to make sure that the spirit of christmas would be given to these children.
6/11/22 Clarksville Police Union's annual cops and bobbers event was held at liberty park pond. Kids 16 and under were given a fishing pole, tackle and help to try to land their catch. All gear was free for them to take home afterwards, to use over the summer.
Clarksville Police Union provided a christmas party for Local officers to promote fellowship and recognition for the hard work and dedication each officer provides through their service to the city of Clarksville tn.
Clarksville Police Union supported several Local organizations: special olympics with a donation of $1750 and the imagination library with a donation of $500
Clarksville Police Union sponsored two Local area high school football teams, to assist students with uniforms and needed equipment for the school year
Clarksville Police Union sent two individuals to to an event benefiting the middle and east Tennessee concerns of Police survivors "rebuilding shattered lives" the event took place at cumberland mountain state park in crossville Tennessee
Clarksville Police Union sponsored a flag football team that competed in the second annual first responders flag football championship fundraiser. Monies raised benefited the citizens Police academy.
Clarksville Police Union gave to several different smaller projects, to include - recognition awards to officers, a donation of $390 for Police memorial week, $325 to the Police games that are held locally and the unions supported officers families who lost a loved one by sending floral arrangements total cost $450
