Central Outreach Resource and Referral Center

Drug & alcohol consulting under this program, corrc provides intake and assessment services, identifies the level of care an individual needs, and supports the individual to access the care as needed. Corrc also provides general support to individuals while arranging for needed services to foster the individuals commitment to treatment. In addition to linking individuals to treatment, the Center maintains a commitment for follow up to ensure that each person referred for treatment receives the support necessary for successful transition to other levels of care. The Center also helps to connect people in early recovery 12-step program and to other recovery support programs throughout western Pennsylvania.

Hiv/aids corrc provides hiv/aids awareness training to people with potential high risk to contacting the disease. The organization is aware that hiv/aids is the number one cause of death in young adults and that prevention and education is an important step in helping to deter the transmission of the disease. The organization has dedicated its services to educating the community about the disease. Services provided under this program include information dissemination and Referral, hiv Outreach, special pharmaceutical benefit program Referral, pre/posttest counseling, and training.
