The Center for Black Brown and Queer Studies conducts research on issues related to race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, and colonialism. It provides mentorships to students, activists, and artists among others engaged with these issues. It recruited 12 fellows based on open national competition that received about 120 applications. Additionally, it created The pedagogy lab to provide open educational resources to K-12 students of color and received a grant from The Hewlett Foundation to support the lab.

1. . Recruited 18 academic fellows based on national competition that received about 175 applications. 2. The pedagogy lab created oer resources for k-12 students of color through a summer fellowship program of 5 fellows while preparing for a pedagogy conference open to The public in early 2023. 3. Supported boarding school education history research project. Recruited 2 project postdoctoral fellows to lead The archival process. 4. We commenced our investigation at carlisle indian school archives.
