California Opioid Maintenance Providers

California Organization of Methadone Providers recently held its second annual training and educational symposium at the California Endowment in Los Angeles, California. The training was a collaboration with UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs and the Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center, funded through grants. The organization has employed public policy and healthcare reform experts, including a law firm to provide guidance on crafting position papers and testimony related to drug Medi-Cal expansion, patient rights, parity, and health exchange insurance coverage.
