Description
Books for Africa Library Project aims to establish libraries in Ghana, West Africa. Librarians from 16 towns in Ghana were trained to use the Roswell Diagnostic Reading Test and received locally published books worth $200 each to help improve school-age reading skills. Additionally, a cultural library and museum were established in the chief's palace of the Dwumana clan of Kukurantumi, Ghana. The project purchased books and artifacts and provided a grant to operate the library and museum. The organization is located in Saint Louis, MO.
