The Blanden Charitable Foundation strives to inspire and nurture education in and appreciation of the visual arts through its permanent collection and innovative exhibitions. Children and adults participate in classes at the museum, where they receive educational tours, and grade school children are taught a class by the museum educator in their "Art in the Schools Program." Adults also participate in their "Community Focus Program." In addition to these programs, exhibitions and special events such as curator and artist lectures and demonstrations are offered throughout the year.
