Bitty Kitty Brigade

Foster program - our foster program provided care and medical services for 924 kittens, cats and dogs in 2022 including 790 kittens age 0-5 weeks, 89 kittens 6 weeks to 9 months, 36 kittens/cats age 9 months and older, 8 dogs age 0-5 weeks and 1 dog 6 weeks to 9 months. 811 adoptions were finalized and all kittens, cats, and dogs were spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites prior to adoption. A special focus was placed on incontinent kittens with rear leg paralysis and kittens with significant medical needs. Additionally, we hosted 5 low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics for community members.Trap-Neuter-Return program - The organization continued a program to address the issues of unaltered stray and feral cats on properties from which orphaned kittens were surrendered to the organization. Cats are humanely trapped, sterilized and returns to their outdoor home or in the case of friendly cats, are networked to local rescues.
