Employees and volunteers at Bethesda dilworth prepare more than 1,200 meals each month for seniors living in webster groves, rock hill, shrewsbury, brentwood and crestwood. Bethesda southgate also participates by delivering more than 800 meals monthly to seniors living in south st. louis county. Every year residents and volunteers at Bethesda gardens host a baby shower to help raise funds and collect baby clothes and supplies for families in need. The donations are given to nurses for newborns, a nonprofit organization that provides a safety net for at risk families to prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect.bethesda also offers a program that has been developed to educate the public on how to be a supportive friend and companion to someone who is either grieving the loss of a loved one or affected by the life-limiting illness themselves. Additionally, the program delves into how to support those who are struggling with other instances of loss from divorce to recent unemployment. The program is offered to community organizations and churches throughout st. louis.since our founding more than a century ago, Bethesda has helped seniors live the lives they love. In keeping with our charitable commitment, each year Bethesda provides millions of dollars in humanitarian Care to those seniors who have outlived their assets and are unable to pay for the full cost of the Care and support they receive from us.
